David Scuccimarra was born and raised in New York State. He grew up in the rural town of Brewster, New York, which is located about sixty miles north of New York City. David attended Catholic University of America in Washington D.C., where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master’s degree in Special Education. Upon graduation, David relocated to Maryland.
David holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Administration from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland. He lives in Rehoboth Beach along with his spouse, Dorothy and their dog, Cinnamon. In his spare time David enjoys swimming at the beach, weightlifting, cooking and reading David Baldacci novels.
David retired from the Maryland Education System after thirty-six (36) years of service as a Special Educator, Administrator and Associate Superintendent. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins University for thirteen (13) years in the Special Education Graduate Department. During his tenure in education David received numerous awards, accolades and recognition for his professionalism, dedication and commitment to his community. He is an active Naval Information Officer for over fifteen (15) years. As such he interviews prospective candidates as part of the process for admission to the U.S. Naval Academy.
For over twenty years (20) David enjoyed visiting the Delaware seaside. It was his dream to retire and eventually relocate in Rehoboth Beach. Having purchased a home four (4) years ago in anticipation of his retirement, David is ready to assist his clients through the process of buying or selling a home. David is a great listener. His goal is to help his clients make informed decisions to either find their perfect home or the right buyer for their home.
